Impeller pumps – pumps with a flexible impeller (blades). Volumetric pumps that have excellent self-priming capability. The working element is a flexible multi-blade impeller located in the working chamber with a certain eccentricity. When the impeller rotates, the blades bend and straighten, creating a low-pressure zone (suction side) and a high-pressure zone (discharge nozzle).
The impeller is made from various types of rubber, such as EPDM, CR, NBR, allowing the pump to be selected for pumping different types of products. Due to the properties of the flexible impeller, product transport is smooth, without jerks or pulsations. Additionally, it is worth noting that this type of pumping equipment allows the transfer of viscous pasty liquids, creams, gels, etc. (with viscosities up to 75,000 cP).
