Screw pump is a positive displacement pump. The pump is based on the principle of the Archimedes screw. The screw (auger) rotates in a fixed rubber holder (stator), while the product moves in the gap between the stator and the screw. Thanks to this design, these pumps can pump high-viscosity products (sour cream, honey, gel, minced meat, glue).
