Acid-resistant ceramic nozzles (Raschig rings) are designed for filling the nozzles of columns, absorbers, extractors, converters in the chemical, medical and oil refining industries.
The purpose of using the nozzles is mixing, redistributing the active mass, increasing the contact of the liquid and gas phase surfaces, and improving heat exchange processes in the equipment.
According to the sintering of the ceramic Shard the nozzles are divided into two classes:
A-tightly baked
B porous.
According to the mass composition class A nozzles are divided into two brands:
A1 made of porcelain and cordierite mass;
A2 from a semi-pharphor mass.
Cylindrical nozzles (Rashig rings) are available in the form of thin-walled rings with a diameter of 15 to 150 mm, while the outer diameter of the ring is equal to the height of the nozzle.
Physical, chemical and mechanical characteristics of cylindrical nozzles:
Water absorption, not more than 0.5% test method according to GOST 473.3
Acid resistance, not less than 98.7% test method according to GOST 473.1
Thermal resistance, number of heat changes, not less than 8 test method according to GOST 473.5.
