The R-58V mechanical seal is a single, multi-spring, unbalanced seal, suitable for operation regardless of the shaft rotation direction. Thanks to the system of several small springs, the load in the friction zone is evenly distributed. A modification with secondary wedge-shaped PTFE seals is available, allowing use in aggressive and corrosive environments. The seal can be applied as part of a tandem or double system, as well as in combination with other types of seals. It is available in ATEX version and in materials certified according to FDA and EC 1935/2004 requirements.
