Regular nozzles Propak according to TU U 29.2-30895845-005:2010 (Mellapak type) are used for separation and heat and mass transfer processes (dissection, rectification, absorption, desorption). Structurally, the nozzles are formed from vertically placed corrugated metal sheets (foil) or woven meshes with an angle, pitch and height of the corrugations in accordance with the required specific contact surface layers to form open honeycombs with inclined flow channels.
For ease of installation, the nozzles are made in the form of blocks in accordance with the design of the device and the diameter of the manhole. In the manufacture of blocks, corrugated sheets are connected by spot welding according to a special template. To equalize the pressure by the volume of the nozzle, holes are pre-cut in the metal sheets, and for better wettability of the nozzle, metal sheets are structured by giving a fine grooving in the form of depressions and vertices.
