Etatron pH electrode aka PH level sensor with cable, glass - used in Etatron automatic water treatment stations. The pH electrode is suitable for both controllers and manual PH meters. It is recommended to use Etatron cells for mounting the electrode.
The 12 mm diameter sensor body is made of polycarbonate (EPDM) with a solid electrolyte filled, this guarantees operation at pressures up to 5.5 bar 80°C, supplied with a coaxial cable from 1 to 5 m long with a BNC connector.
Technical characteristics of the PH sensor:
Signal rise rate: 95% in 1 second.
Measuring range: 0-14 pH.
Calibration liquid, type: pH 4, pH 7 and pH 9.
Caution: do not use the sensor at negative pressure, do not allow the sensor to dry out and do not use at negative temperatures.
Calibration:
The calibration frequency is a function of the electrode, pH meter, and solutions being measured. The electrode and the pH meter should always be calibrated together, with the interval between calibrations determined by experience.
Remove the electrode from its container
Rinse the electrode with water
The electrode is ready for use
Follow the calibration procedures according to the PH meter manual.
Always use fresh buffers.
Cleaning:
Always keep electrodes wet. Store in pH buffers or tap water. Coatings on electrodes should be chemically dissolved using a chemical in which the coating is soluble. Soft, non-abrasive cloths such as cotton swabs can also be used. Avoid using any abrasive materials that will scratch the measuring surface.
Storage:
The transducer should not be allowed to dry out; for short-term storage, it is possible to place it in water.
