Pumps of the ECV model are designed to lift water with a total salinity (dry residue) of no more than 1500 mg/l, a pH value of 6.5-9.5, a temperature of up to 298K (25 ° C) with a mass fraction of solid mechanical impurities no more than 50 g/m³, chloride content no more than 350 mg/l, sulfates - no more than 500 mg/l, hydrogen sulfide - no more than 1.5 mg/l.
A centrifugal pump, as a rule, consists of a submersible powerful electric motor and a pumping part, which are connected by a rigid coupling. To protect the pump from accidental ingress of large types of impurities, an additional mesh filter is installed in the EVC pump. The rotor of the pump and the driving electric motor rotate in special metal-rubber bearings. The electric motor bearings are cooled and lubricated by the pumped water. The pump is installed on the section of the riser pipes or is suspended directly at the wellhead.
