The high-performance HELIX FIRST centrifugal pump is a vertical high-pressure pump with inline connections. It has a particularly compact design. The pump shaft and motor shaft are connected by an IEC-standard longitudinal coupling. A separate rolling bearing with a lantern ensures optimum axial force absorption. Intermediate bearings in the hydraulics and a corrosion-resistant shaft with a stainless steel bushing ensure durability. The pump housing and lantern are KTL-coated. Special, firmly fixed lifting eyes allow for easy installation of the pump.
Applications: water supply and pressure boosting, in industrial circulation systems, in process water circuits and closed cooling circuits, in fire fighting installations, washing installations and for irrigation.
Features and benefits:
- Efficiency-optimized hydraulics manufactured by 2D/3D laser welding;
- Corrosion-resistant impellers, guide wheels and section bodies;
- Hydraulics with optimized flow and gas removal;
- Reinforced pump casing, improved in terms of flow characteristics and NPSH;
- The compact design makes it space-saving and easy to maintain;
- Particularly robust coupling guard.
Scope of delivery: Wilo-Helix FIRST V high-pressure centrifugal pump; installation and operating instructions; PN 16 version with oval flanges: counter flanges made of gray cast iron with corresponding bolts, nuts and seals.
Motor protection is available on request or provided by the customer.
The standard position of the terminal box is aligned with the suction flange, but can be changed if required.
The Wilo-Helix FIRST V is equipped with a user-friendly cartridge-type sliding mechanical seal and a serial seal for easy maintenance.
The dismountable coupling (at ≥ 7.5 kW) allows the sliding mechanical seal to be replaced without dismantling the motor.
For versions PN 16, PN 25 and Pmax = 30 bar, round counter flanges made of gray cast iron or stainless steel, screws, nuts and seals are available as optional accessories.
Bypass kits are available as an optional extra.
