“Frikont” promotes the active growth of yeast by destroying bacterial cells that compete with yeast. This product maintains the stability of the fermentation process, ensures microbiological cleanliness in the technological process, and prevents alcohol loss.

Antiseptic product - “Frikont”.
It is a safe antimicrobial agent designed to suppress infections of the microflora in alcohol production. The main active component of the “Frikont” product is an antibiotic, which completely breaks down during the fermentation process, leaving no residue in the spent grain. “Frikont” is effective against gram-positive microorganisms, such as lactic acid bacteria, which are the main cause of contamination of the microflora in alcohol production, while not suppressing the activity of yeast.

The antiseptic product “Frikont” is intended for:

  • Food industry enterprises;
  • Alcohol production enterprises;
  • Yeast production;
  • Antiseptic treatment of raw materials and technological media in alcohol production from starch-containing raw materials.

A key advantage of “Frikont” over other antibacterial agents is its broad spectrum of action against both gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms, as well as anaerobic species. The product has been designed so that its components break down in the final stages of production, leaving no traces in the final products such as alcohol and spent grain. “Frikont” stimulates yeast growth by destroying competing bacteria, maintains the stability of fermentation, ensures the cleanliness of the technological process, prevents alcohol loss, and improves the organoleptic properties of alcohol, without deteriorating the ecological and hygienic characteristics of the spent grain as an animal feed product.

“Frikont” is effective against contaminating microflora. A dosage of 1-2 g/m3 is bactericidal for microorganisms of the Bacterium, Lactobacillus genera. For other species that can contaminate the microflora during production, this dosage has a bacteriostatic effect, inhibiting their growth for 24 hours. The total microflora decreases due to the death of Bacterium and Lactobacillus bacteria and the suppression of other species, which does not negatively affect the process, output, or product quality.

The antiseptic product “Frikont” at minimal concentrations (0.0001-0.0002%) has an antibacterial effect on the microflora.

Preparation of working solutions and their use.
Dissolve the product in 10 times the amount of drinking water at a temperature not exceeding 40°C.
The solution is added to the yeast mass, yeast generator, and fermentation tank at a rate of 1-2 g per 1 m3 of wort.

Application mode and method of “Frikont”.
Add the product to the technological medium at a temperature not exceeding 40°C and a pH between 3.5 and 7.5.

The antiseptic product “Frikont” in alcohol production

“Frikont” is recommended as an operational tool when bacterial contamination is detected to stabilize the technological process, as well as a preventive tool to prevent contamination of the yeast wort. The prolonged action of “Frikont” helps to reduce acidity in the production process, increase yeast viability, and prevent alcohol losses. It is especially effective in continuous cycle installations when fermenting starch-containing products.

The use of “Frikont” allows increasing the interval between planned disinfections and reducing their number. The product suppresses the microflora without affecting yeast, but on the contrary, stimulates their growth by inhibiting competing bacteria. It can be dosed directly into fermentation tanks or yeast generators.

Transport and storage conditions.
The “Frikont” product is transported in the manufacturer’s packaging by all types of transport in accordance with the applicable transport rules for the respective type of transport.
The product should be stored in a dry, closed room at a temperature between 0 and 25°C.

Shelf life of the product.
The shelf life of “Frikont” is three years.

Packaging requirements.
The product is packaged in 0.5 kg polyethylene containers with lids.
The packaging must have a label indicating the following information:

  • Name of the manufacturer, its address;
  • Product name;
  • Net weight;
  • Batch number;
  • Manufacturing date (month, year);
  • Shelf life, storage conditions;
  • Technical specifications;
  • Application recommendations.
