The liquid phase after distillation at a temperature of 65 to 105 degrees is taken from the bottom column by a pump and, depending on the technology, is fed to a transfer tank for unloading or to a DDGS decanter or centrifuge line. Stainless steel stillage pumps with double mechanical seals that are cooled by water are well suited for these applications.
